LEAH CHOI

Leah Choi is a photographer, visual storyteller, library and information science professional, and former pastry chef based out of Los Angeles, CA. She was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, where its rich history and diversity and her multi-generational upbringing inspire her pursuit of photographing the land, culture and heritage, people, and their stories. Her personal focus is on exploring food as integral to culture, generational inheritance, sovereignty, and a medium for connection. Leah aims to cultivate meaningful relationships with people and our environment and to document and share these stories through collaboration.
